Kami's Jammies

Snug as a bug in a rug

The Kami’s Jammies Program was started in 2008 in memory of Kamryn, a Casey Cares child that passed away from leukemia in 2007. Kamryn was a frequent, overnight hospital patient who felt special when she wore a new pair of pajamas in place of hospital gowns. For Kami, who had a flair for fashion, passing this symbol of joy and normalcy onto other critically ill children is her legacy.

Just about all of the pjs that we give away each year get donated to us!  Casey Cares usually needs adult, male pajamas for our teen patients, because we never have enough of those. Donations arrive from schools, companies like Chick-fil-a, churches, synagogues, clubs, fraternities, sororities, sports teams, kids, retirement communities, individuals, and every kind of person or organization running a pajama drive

Want to support this program?  Choose a pair of pajamas to donate through our Amazon Wishlist and have it sent directly to our office.

Testimonials

What a blessing you have all been in our lives from the moment we first heard about you. We were given a pair of your PJs at our clinic due to a chemo-inducing vomiting accident. We are so grateful for how giving you are and how eager you are to bring joy to other people's lives.
