Casey Cares Boy Attends First Cleveland Browns Football Game

Not only was this past Sunday thrilling for the Cleveland Browns game, a 23-17 win against the Tampa Buccaneers in overtime, but it was also even more meaningful to a young boy from Huron County, Ohio who is battling cancer.

Nine-year-old Preston, currently in remission for B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, was so excited to be at his very first Browns game, thanks to Casey Cares Foundation.

He has been a fan of the Browns since he was little!

Natalie said, “What a memorable game to be his first! The smile on his face was literally priceless. [It was] his Christmas miracle…a game and a win!”

The mother expressed her gratitude for Casey Cares, saying, “There are literally not enough words in the world to thank you [Casey Cares] for helping make Preston’s dream come true!!! Thank you beyond measure for everything and making this possible!”

His stepfather, Brian and stepbrother Talon also attended.

Casey Cares works closely with select NFL teams to acquire game tickets and accepts ticket donations from private donors.

The Casey Cares Foundation has been operating in Ohio for over ten years, helping families with children who are critically ill. We organize family-centric events such as tickets to sporting events, concerts and museums, group parties, and more. For children with compromised immune systems, we also provide at-home movie and pizza night packages and grocery assistance gift cards.

This past September, Casey Cares hosted its first large-scale fundraiser in Ohio with their Inaugural Ohio 5K/1-Mile Walk at Lower.com Field.
